Isla de la Juventud
The Isle of Youth has beauties that make it one of the most picturesque spots of Cuba. Among them are the legends related to pirates, and the richness of its flora, fauna and its archaeological, cultural and historical heritage treasuries.
Lanier is the natural boundary between the northern and southern portion of the island, declared Ramsar site for being a wetland of international importance.
Access to the area is possible by plain (0.30 minutes) or catamaran (3 hours) to cover the nearly 110 miles separating it from Batabanó Havana town.
